English as a Second Language Training - Free

Our chamber is now offering a free program to help anyone who wants to increase their English language skills. It's especially important for people where English is a second language. The English as a Second Language Training (ESL) is Free. This is Community Based English Tutoring (CBET).

This free service is available for both employers and their employees. Free babysitting is provided for pre-school children ages 3-5 years of age. Reimbursment for other expense in hardship situation may be available - contact the Chamber.

The training is through the Lindberg Adult Educational Center in Manteca. Contact our Membership Chairman for additional information or to learn how to sign up.

The multi-level ESL/CBET classes are designed for students at all levels of proficiency, from little to no English, to advanced proficiency levels. Students learn to understand, speakm read and write English, and how to help school-age schildren who are learning english as well.

Hardship Situation Reimbursement
Reimbursement may be available for transportation expenses or other hardship situations. Contact the Chamber for information. All classes and class materials are provided at no expense.
