The first major project of this committtee was an overhaul and upgrade of the Chamber website at the end of 2009. The project extended over nearly two months and is now a website allowing maximum member exposure and a tremendously positive visitor experience.

One of the additions to the 2010 website include advertisements for all Chamber members (free for one year). After the first year there will be a nominal charge for ads (a fund raiser for the Chamber). The ads include links to the member's own website as well as the information about their business in the ad.

A new, searchable, membership directory was installed which includes the opportunity for each member to have up to five key words listed for their business and a discription of their business posted on the Chamber website. There is also another link to the member's website. We are doing everything we can to help promote our members and help them increase business.

New pages were added for each of the Chamber committees and an expanded Board of Directors page was designed to include more information and photos of each Board member.

Potential members can now download a PDF Membership Application which can be completed and mailed or faxed to the Chamber for processing.

A survey is planned for later in the year to find out how the membership is reacting to the site and what else the members might want on the website.
